Gavarkavich (MPH, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) has over ten years of experience in public health, education, and applied research. She has worked as a high school math teacher and applied researcher, focusing on program evaluations, needs assessments, and public opinion research in nonprofits and local government. Currently working on her EdD, she hopes to facilitate greater implementation of the learnings from her data and research. She enjoys working to expand opportunities for young girls, particularly in STEM and civic leadership.
